POETRY ALBUMS, SONGS, PERFORMANCES, AND MOVIES
Shams’s poetry has generated significant demand for recitations by the poet himself. In addition to publishing readings online, he has released six original albums featuring his poetry, accompanied by music composed by well-known musicians. These albums include 53 Love Songs 1 & 2 by Mohammad Farmanian (2005 & 2007), Twenty-Two Elegies in July by Mohammad Farmanian (2009, unofficially released online), It Is Only You Left of Me by Hamed Habibzade (2012), The Wind Has Lost Its Mind by Mazda Shahani (2013), The Gardener of Hell by Amir Hossein Samiei (2013), and Never Ending Circle by Mohammad Farmanian (2018). Shams’s songwriting, melody composition, and vocal talents further demonstrate his creative abilities, with around 20 tracks already available to the public.

His recent concert performance, And You Didn’t Return Either (2024), based on his poems, was well received by audiences. In addition to his musical contributions, Shams has acted in six films: Flamingo Number 13 (2010), which received international acclaim and was awarded as the best film; Panj Ta Panj : Five to Five (2013); The Risk of Acid Rain (2014), where he was nominated for best actor by film critics; Parting (2016); Life Again (2017); and Jan E Janan (2022), which has yet to be screened.
